Alan Rose
Chairman
Alan is an experienced management executive with over 35 years’ experience as a corporate adviser, venture capitalist and company analyst. He has a proven track record of working with start-up ventures, raising venture capital, developing strategic business plans and performing due diligence.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Torrens University, has an Advanced Diploma in Management and Diplomas in Education, and Teaching. He has held board positions on several regulated entities including a registered Pooled Development Fund, a registered General Insurance Company, and a Licensed Security Dealer. He has provided strategic advice to the boards of several ASX public listed companies including the development of strategic marketing plans.
Jimmy Chau
Chief Investment Officer
Jimmy Chau is a business professional with over twenty (20) years of experience in investment fund management, asset management, asset enhancement, and company acquisition. He is experienced in next generation multi-quant funds governed by Artificial Intelligence (AI), automated algorithms and advanced quantitative models. He has built a record of success in identifying investment opportunities, strategic planning for start-ups, and pre-IPO investments.
Jimmy is currently the Principal of Jadeite Equity Ltd a private quantitative and AI equity investment fund which he co-founded. Jadeite Equity has successfully focused on pre-IPO investments, quantitative finance, cryptocurrency trading, start-up ventures and venture capital funding. He was previously the Managing Director of a pioneer ground-breaking multi-algorithm multi-quant hedge fund that focused its unique fundamental programming to track and predict key stock activity.
Jimmy has a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science), from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Business Administration from the Fordham University, New York City, an Executive MBA from the Peking University, and a Master in Blockchain Technology from Feva Works IT Education (Hong Kong).
Nicholas Thiele
Managing Director
Nicholas has an extensive background in business management and in the provision of investment banking services. He has a Bachelor of Science (Business) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Business Management and Law).
Nicholas also has considerable business development and property investment experience including being CEO of RE/MAX Australia. Most recently, Nicholas was the primary executive, representing the lead sponsor, in the establishment of a Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Blockchain to secure $50 million in Federal funding and from Universities, government and industry partners including RMIT, Macquarie University, Queensland University of Technology, Swinburne University and Data 61 (CSIRO).
Tony Teng
Executive Director
Tony is an experienced corporate adviser and company director. He has been a CEO and senior executive with a number of investment companies over the last ten years and has a Master of Business Administration. He has held senior positions with Microsoft and Prudential Insurance in the UK. He was a director of World Credit Savings, a digital currency bank, located in Abu Dhabi Global Market, an international financial centre and free zone located in the United Arab Emirates.
Tony has been involved in several mergers and acquisitions across five continents with top tier financial institutes and a sovereign fund from the United Arab Emirates. He has been an oversea partner of Kejia Group China. His expertise, experience and global network have been major factors in successful capital raisings and negotiations for achieving exit strategies for major projects.
Jimmy Chen
Associate Director
Jimmy is an Australian lawyer specialising in Private International law and Migration Law. He has a Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training (College of Laws Australia) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Queensland.
Over the past five years he has consistently overseen numerous multi-million dollar transactions as part of his management role as Chief Executive Officer for National Glory Holdings Limited, Dubai. Jimmy has combined his legal knowledge with his cultural background to identify and enhance business opportunities across Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. He will be responsible for maintaining business relations with limited partners especially in Asia and in the Middle East.
